The adidas originals zx flux “Two-Tone” Pack is now beginning to arrive at select adidas retailers and we are giving you a closer look at the Dark Turquoise rendition from this delightful collection. Also included in this pack is a grey rendition and a black and turquoise version. Pictured above is the Dark Turquoise colorway which is hands down the most vibrant colorway from the three options that are offered. Turquoise has been placed on the synthetic built upper with hints of black on the heel cage, lace eyestay and lace eyelets. Leather, suede and mesh are also placed on this great lifestyle runner. Adding a bit more color is an orange adidas trefoil on the heel. After seeing them debut two weeks ago during All Star Weekend, everyone who doesn’t live in New York and was not fortunate enough to cop a pair was left with a sour taste in their mouth. The shoe is then completed with black laces that will compliment adidas‘ Three Stripes located in the side panels of the Adios Boost, all while sitting atop a white contrasting boost midsole.
Kenny Anderson was the first lucky converse all star uk skater to get his hands on the LunarLon cushioning platform that Nike SB riders Paul Rodriguez and Eric Koston have claimed for years. Between that and the elegant construction, Anderson’s CONS KA-Two is bound to draw comparisons to the popular Koston 1 SB. Just ask any skaters you know and that’s a good thing, as is the simple and effective combination of red suede, white midsole and gum bottom. This new John Varvatos x Converse All Star Double Zip features a smooth snakeskin upper that resides mostly in the brown range, though most of the tones are fairly light. The zipper pull tabs on these are the same material, all of which is contrasted nicely by white leather medial patches.
Back in January, new balance 574 women previewed 26 brand new releases for the early goings of 2015. A number of the shoes featured a guitar inspiration including this minty fresh New Balance 996. Inspired by a seafoam green Fender Stratocaster (you might remember the guitar from the film Stranger Than Fiction) not pictured here is the unique pick hang tag seen in the preview. The soft mint suede pairs well with a breathable mesh while the usual amount of 3M can be found on the piping and ‘N’ logo. New Balance aims to capitalize on this new notion with the 1500 “Navy Leather.” A slightly more scaled down version of what the “Gentlemen’s Choice” was, a subtle navy leather upper keeps things simple with white accents along the “N” logo and across the tongue make for nice contrasts. In line with the season at hand thanks to its deepened tone and texture.
