CHICAGO - The Chicago Blackhawks are hitting the road at full speed. Jonathan Toews and Steve Montador each scored twice to help the Blackhawks beat the Edmonton Oilers 6-3 on Sunday night for their third straight victory. Duncan Keith had a goal and assist for Chicago (11-4-3), which handed Edmonton its third consecutive loss. Daniel Carcillo capped the scoring with an empty-net goal. The Blackhawks, one of the NHLs quickest and most-skilled teams, have 16 goals during the winning streak. They hope the burst will provide momentum as they embark on a six-game "circus" trip that will keep them away from the United Center, where theyre 7-1-2, until Nov. 29. "Its great for everyones confidence to see different guys score," Toews said. "I dont think it matters to anybody who scores as long as we find a way." Montador, a defenceman playing his 10th NHL season, had his first two-goal game. "It was important we finish this homestand right," Montador said. "Were still learning, still making mistakes and learning from them." He beat Oilers centre Lennart Petrell with a nifty move to score the first one. Montador notched his second playing in a forward spot -- and parked in the slot -- on a power play. Acquired by Chicago in the off-season, Montador has made a career as a physical, stay-at-home defenceman. But in his last three games, he has three goals. "Hes had a couple of good games," Chicago coach Joel Quenneville said. "That first goal was pretty remarkable for a defenceman." Ryan Smyth, Jordan Eberle and Shawn Horcoff scored for the Oilers (9-6-2). Edmonton goalie Nikolai Khabibulin surrendered a season-high five goals on 34 shots and lost his second straight game in regulation after starting the season 7-0-2. The Blackhawks came out firing at Khabibulin, who played four seasons in Chicago before signing as a free agent with Edmonton in July 2009. "(Khabibulin) is one of those goalies where if he stops a couple of big ones early, he can get hot and steal a game from you," Toews said. "You dont want to let that happen, so we stayed on him." Khabibulin, who entered the game with an NHL-leading 1.18 goals-against average and .957 save percentage, has allowed eight goals in the consecutive losses after permitting just nine in his first nine games. Oilers coach Tom Renney didnt blame his goalie, but slammed his teams performance as "awful." After a surprising start this season -- including a six-game winning streak -- Edmonton has lost four of five. "I dont think they realize yet what it takes to win on a nightly basis," Renney said. "We have a couple of rungs to go and it starts in your own head. "We understand the depth of the people were playing and the experience theyve had with winning and were still working on that. But theres no excuses. We needed to man up tonight and we didnt do it." Chicagos Corey Crawford made 20 saves. Blackhawks defenceman Brent Seabrook sustained a lower-body injury in the second period and didnt return. The Blackhawks jumped ahead 2-0 early in the first on goals by Toews and Montador just 36 seconds apart. Toews opened the scoring 4:55 in when he circled the net and lofted a shot over Khabibulins glove. Montador made it 2-0 at 5:29 when he skated around Petrell and plowed to the net. Smyth cut it to 2-1 midway through the first by cutting to the net and stuffing a shot under Crawford. But Montador deflected in a power-play goal from the slot with 3:49 left in the period to make it 3-1. Toews struck again 22 seconds into the second and extended Chicagos lead to 4-1 by banging a loose puck past Khabibulins outstretched left pad. Eberle finished a breakaway with a backhand shot at 6:17 to cut it to 4-2, but Keith connected 1:30 later on a screened drive from the left point to restore the Blackhawks three-goal lead. Horcoffs power-play goal, on a tip in, cut it to 5-3 with 45 seconds left in the second. Carcillo added an empty-net goal with 1:45 left in the third to complete the scoring. NOTES: The Oilers completed a six-game trip, going 2-4-0 on the swing. ... Edmonton D Cam Barker (ankle) missed his second game. ... The Lions traded their fifth overall pick in the 2014 CFL Draft to the Ottawa Redblacks for QB Kevin Glenn. Paul George Jersey . The 27-year-old Niskanen, the more offensive-minded of the pair of defencemen joining the Capitals, got a $40.25 million, seven-year contract. "Its a very big commitment from Washington. Thats no small thing. Youre talking a seven-year commitment for a very substantial amount of money," said Niskanen, who got married Saturday. Mark Sanchez and Michael Vick have traded places. Bounced out of New York after the Jets signed Vick last Friday, Sanchez has moved down turnpike and signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles. A news conference is scheduled for Friday "Ive said many times that we will always look to add quality players at the quarterback position," Eagles coach Chip Kelly said in a statement. He called the signing a "no-brainer." "Mark has started 68 games in his career and has taken his teams deep into the playoffs multiple times, so we really like what he brings to the table from an experience standpoint," Kelly said. "I also had the chance to see Mark play in college and have always had respect for his game and athletic ability." Sanchez spent last season on injured reserve after tearing the labrum in his right shoulder in a preseason game. He led the Jets to the AFC championship game his first two seasons in the NFL before struggling the next two. Sanchez had an NFL-leading 52 turnovers in 2012-13. Sanchez, in his sixth year in the league, will be added to a mix of quarterbacks that includes Nick Foles, Matt Barkley and G.J. Kinne. In colleege, Barkley succeeded Sanchez at Southern California.dddddddddddd "You can never have enough talent at the quarterback position on your roster, so when Mark became available we immediately became interested," Eagles general manager Howie Roseman said. Roseman pointed to Sanchezs "valuable experience." "Hell have the chance to come in and learn the playbook, and we feel hell be a nice veteran addition to the quarterback room," he said. Sanchez was the fifth overall pick in the 2009 draft and drew comparisons to Joe Namath in New York. He had seemingly beat out rookie Geno Smith for the starting job in a preseason competition last August before getting hurt. Sanchez has thrown 68 touchdown passes, 69 interceptions and lost 20 fumbles. His career completion percentage is just 55.1 and his passer rating is only 77.1. While Vick will compete with Smith for the starting job in New York, Sanchez is coming to Philadelphia as insurance. Foles had a breakout sophomore season and led the Eagles to the NFC East title after replacing an injured Vick in Week 5. Foles threw 29 touchdowns and only two interceptions in 11 starts, including a playoff loss to New Orleans. cheap nfl jerseys ' ' '
